REBRANDING

OVERVIEW
During the rebranding of the MAF  each of the mall brands were updated to include the MAF ‘M’ symbol.  This unified all the MAF brands.  Each one of these new identities need to be updated on all the MAF malls.
PLANNING
We created a guidelines document that was used to assist the Mall operators in creating a consistent signage strategy throughout all the mall types.  The external, parking and internal signage are all detailed and illustrated within the document.
CONCEPT
Each of the new logos was translated into a 3D sign type that would be both non-illuminated and illuminated.  Each of these sign types were prototyped and refined to create a standard sign design that could be used across multiple malls.


 
MAF SUB BRANDS
Using the main identities we developed signage designs that could be used in both non and illuminated versions.
The VOX cinema sign was used day night film to provide a black (day) and white (night) effect.
